Trước nhu cầu mở rộng hạ tầng và lưu lượng truy cập ngày càng tăng trong các trung tâm dữ liệu hiện đại, các nhà khai thác mạng đang ngày càng triển khai kiến trúc spine-and-leaf IP fabric với các thiết bị chuyển mạch cấu hình cố định, hiệu năng cao. Juniper QFX5200-48Y-DC-AFI cung cấp 48 cổng 10G/25G SFP+/SFP28 cùng các cổng uplink 40GbE và 100GbE linh hoạt, giúp tối ưu chi phí đầu tư, đồng thời bảo vệ khả năng mở rộng và nâng cấp hệ thống trong tương lai.

Ngoài vai trò triển khai tại lớp core hoặc spine trong kiến trúc IP fabric, Juniper QFX5200-48Y-DC-AFI còn phù hợp cho các mô hình mạng multitier và các giải pháp Multichassis Link Aggregation (MC-LAG) thường được sử dụng trong hệ thống mạng doanh nghiệp.
